Wodonga TAFE helping bring more women into Transport

When industry and Wodonga TAFE come together, great things happen.  Last month following the successful completion of the first phase of a women only Wodonga TAFE DECA Superior Heavy Vehicle Licensing program. Eight newly-licenced women truck drivers will be working to shift freight and the gender balance in the logistics industry following their graduation from the inaugural women-only driver training program.

Wodonga TAFE named Australia’s best Large Training Provider

On Thursday November 15, Wodonga TAFE was named 2018 Australian Large Training Provider of the Year at the Australian Training Awards in Sydney.

Having already taken out the equivalent Victorian state award in September, Wodonga TAFE progressed to being named a finalist in the national awards, going up against North Metropolitan TAFE - Western Australia & TAFE NSW - Design Centre Enmore - New South Wales.
