In collaboration with Mental Health Victoria, Wodonga TAFE is offering enrolment into the Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work. This specialist, nationally-recognised course is specifically designed for workers who have lived experience as either a consumer or carer, and who work in mental health services in roles that support, mentor or advocate for consumers or carers, or people with lived experience who have a career goal to work as a Mental Health Peer Worker.

This qualification provides you with an accredited training program and vocational outcome if you are planning to work in, or are currently working in, a universal service role (helping profession). This training was developed to equip professionals who do not have family violence as a core function of their role, but who may encounter victim survivors (including children and young people), and perpetrators, through their interactions with children, families and/or adults within their work.
