Certificate III in Rural Operations

Certificate III in Rural Operations at Wodonga TAFE is designed for individuals aiming to develop practical skills and knowledge essential for managing and working in rural and agricultural environments. This comprehensive course equips students with the expertise needed to excel in various rural operations, from managing livestock to maintaining equipment and facilities. This course is also available as the On-Country Rural Operations Program - a condensed course with select units for First Nations students only.

AgVet Chemical User's Course Reaccreditation Victoria

Re-accredit your current (within 5 year validity) AgVet Chemical Licence. Learn current legislative requirements and safe working practices needed to use pesticides and herbicides. There's hands-on training in the preparation, application, transportation and storing of chemicals.

Chainsaw Training

This course covers the units FWPCOT2273 - Trim and Cut Felled Trees and FWPCOT2254 - Maintain Chainsaws (equivalent to level 1 chainsaw operation). This training will provide you with knowledge and skills to safely operate and maintain a chainsaw for trimming and cutting fallen trees using a range of cutting techniques. You will learn to identify cross cutting requirements, prepare and maintain equipment, assess trees and plan cutting and trim and cross cut safely and efficiently.
