Course Overview
Overview
This course is the industry standard for training in chemical use, storage, and handling. It provides the underpinning knowledge for many workplace or industry quality assurance programs and is necessary to apply for a Victorian Agricultural Chemical User's Permit. This course covers pest identification, label and Safety Data Sheet interpretation, legislative issues associated with chemical use, spray drift minimisation techniques, formulation types, control application, animal health, transport and disposal, preparation, clean-up, and other procedures.

You will be assessed on your theoretical and practical knowledge, understanding and skills.
Other Information
Most teaching and assessment is conducted on-campus, but occasionally a particular industry cohort will be trained in their workplace.
