Course in Working Safely in the Solar Industry

Designed for electricians, plumbers, apprentices and trade assistants who are currently working or are seeking employment within the solar installation industry, installing photovoltaic or solar hot water systems. This course provides an overview of safety hazards and appropriate safety measures relevant to solar instillation, increase your overall safety awareness of the processes. Work safely in the solar industry (VU22744) will be a mandatory qualification for all solar workers carrying out installations for the Solar Homes Program as of 1 July 2023.

Working at heights training is focused on fall prevention rather than fall arrest. It is designed to equip workers with the knowledge and skills to safely work in any height situation and comply with current legislation. All workers who conduct or supervise tasks whilst at height will find this course beneficial. Training and assessment are delivered by qualified trainers from industry backgrounds.
