On Tuesday 9 April, Empowering Women in Trades (EWIT), Snowy Hydro and Wodonga TAFE welcomed a group of women to the Trades Training Centre to experience Carpentry, Electrotechnology and Plumbing trades, giving them exposure to a range of tools and an understanding of the range of roles within them.

Wodonga TAFE is excited to announce the launch of two new skill set courses: UEESS00194 - Grid-connected Photovoltaic Systems Designer-Installer Skill Set UEESS00191 - Grid-connected Battery Storage Systems Designer-Installer Skill Set These courses are designed to equip A-grade electricians and fourth-year electrical apprentices with the skills and knowledge needed to become qualified solar photovoltaic (PV) designers and installers, or battery storage system (BSS) designers and installers.

After finishing Year 12, Piper began a Certificate III in Business Administration traineeship, gaining valuable experience while working and studying. Although she completed the program, she realised she was still searching for something more. Instead of settling, Piper chose to explore further, guided by her curiosity and a desire to challenge herself.
