Wodonga’s Education First Youth Foyer is on track to open in just over a year.
Construction of the $15.75 million facility began in October last year at Wodonga TAFE's McKoy Street campus and, when completed in mid-2025, will be home to 40 at-risk or disadvantaged young people.

In addition to this initiative, we have appointed a dedicated Veteran Liaison Officer (VLO) to provide personalised support and guidance to veterans as they navigate their journey back into the workforce whilst leveraging their invaluable skills, experience, and qualifications.

Aspiring Tradeswomen Try Out Tools at Wodonga TAFE Trades Training Centre

On Tuesday 9 April, Empowering Women in Trades (EWIT), Snowy Hydro and Wodonga TAFE welcomed a group of women to the Trades Training Centre to experience Carpentry, Electrotechnology and Plumbing trades, giving them exposure to a range of tools and an understanding of the range of roles within them.

Wodonga TAFE Receive Australian Defence Force Reserves and Employer Support Award

On 22 August 2024, Australian Defence Force Reserves and Employer Support hosted their annual state awards ceremony. On the night, Wodonga TAFE won the Victorian Public Sector Employer Support Award for our role in working with Reservists, Defence and Veterans. This means Wodonga TAFE will now progress to the national finals, held in Adelaide later this year.
