Wodonga TAFE has completed the installation of 600 kilowatts of rooftop solar panels (1584 total) across its McKoy Street campus, TAFESpace and Logic Centre facilities  to reduce environment impact. The solar panels have officially been turned on and are already significantly reducing Wodonga TAFE’s carbon footprint.

Wodonga TAFE will be home to a multi-million-dollar centre providing secure supported housing, access to education, training and job-skilling for young people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Wodonga’s Education First Youth Foyer is on track to open in just over a year.
Construction of the $15.75 million facility began in October last year at Wodonga TAFE's McKoy Street campus and, when completed in mid-2025, will be home to 40 at-risk or disadvantaged young people.
