The Australian Apprenticeship Program (which includes traineeships and traditional apprenticeships) enables you as an employer to improve your business!
You may choose to upskill existing employees or gain new employees under a formal training arrangement where the employees work, learn, and gain a nationally-recognised qualification - all at the same time.
Wodonga TAFE offers flexible, work-based training and assessment to your trainee or apprentice. You may be able to have your employees trained at your workplace, offering minimal disruption to your business. Other training delivery methods may include classroom delivery, 'block' release to our training workshops, online learning, and self-paced learning materials.
An apprenticeship or traineeship can take between one and four years to complete depending on the qualification level, the employee's existing relevant skills and knowledge, the average number of hours they work, and specific industry requirements. Wodonga TAFE offers apprenticeship qualifications at certificate III level, and traineeship qualifications from certificate II to diploma levels.
