An enhanced learning environment
You will never feel like you're in a concrete jungle at Wodonga Institute of TAFE!
Enjoy your time between classes in the landscaped outdoor areas. Shoot some baskets, or take a walk along the pathways around the campus. Felltimber Creek winds its way through the campus and we have revitalised the creek and its surrounds through a program of revegetation and bank stabilisation. This is just one way in which we are working to improve the environment for our students and staff.
If you need to be indoors, hang out with your friends in the student lounge and enjoy a coffee or a bite to eat from the café.
LIRNspace
Used by students and staff, the LIRNspace has more than 30 networked computer workstations with internet access and printer facilities. It is an ideal place to study, do research, and complete out-of-class assignments, with discussion spaces available, and access to drink and snack vending machines. Class groups may use the LIRNspace and the neighbouring E Street, which also contains computers for student use. This facility is open every day during Wodonga TAFE's business hours. For personal study needs after hours and on weekends, the David Mann Library is available. Visit the La Trobe University Library website for more information about Library opening hours and facilities for students.
Purpose-designed workshops and training centres
Although some students learn off campus, Wodonga TAFE has excellent on-campus training and specialist facilities that help you to be work-ready when you graduate.
Our ongoing program that updates and improves training facilities and student resource areas will enhance your learning experience. Specialised workshops and training centres, including fully-equipped workshops, computer laboratories, and specialised 'hands-on' industry facilities, are located around the campus.
