First Nations Scholarship
Scholarships are available to First Nations students.
Scholarships are to support any additional fees the students might need for
learning materials or uniform for accredited training courses. If
successful in being awarded a scholarship, you will receive up to 50% of the
cost to a total of $750 per student per course. Scholarship applications
will be reviewed by a panel for approvals. Applications are ongoing and
always open.

Principal’s scholarship
Wodonga TAFE has established Principal’s Scholarships to
support Year 12 school leavers enrolling in certificate I to advanced
diploma qualifications. Scholarships are awarded on merit basis determined by
local secondary college principals. If you are a Year 12 school leaver, please
contact your local high school or secondary college for further details.
Victorian TAFE Network Hospitality Scholarship Program
This scholarship is managed by William Angliss Institute; however,
Wodonga TAFE Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (SIT30821) students are
eligible to apply.
The Victorian TAFE Hospitality Scholarships program was
introduced to address shortages of skilled labour in the Victorian hospitality
industry in both regional and metropolitan Victoria and to support new talent
with career opportunities. Of Wodonga TAFE courses, this scholarship applies
only to Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (SIT30821)
The value of the scholarship is $10,000 per successful
applicant, in accordance with the Scholarship funding agreement.

Commonwealth Prac Payment (CPP) Scheme
As of July 1 2025, students enrolled in a Diploma of Nursing may be eligible for financial support for mandatory work placement. The CPP is a grant from the government paid to eligible Diploma of Nursing students in instalments each time they undertake a prac placement during their qualification. Students can be eligible to receive up to $331.65 per week in order to assist with cost of living during placements. Find out more about the CPP Scheme on the YourCareers website

Regional Disability Worker Scholarships
The Victorian Government is supporting those studying
disability support work in regional areas to become qualified and start
exciting careers.
The scholarships will support more disability workers to
deliver services in regional and rural Victoria. It will do this by providing
financial support to complete a course in disability, assisting them with the
unpaid placement component of their study.
Scholarships of $3,500 will be available to eligible
students studying CHC33021

Downer Building and Construction Women's Scholarship
Downer is excited to offer two Building
and Construction Scholarships for women from the Albury Wodonga region in 2025.
The aim of this scholarship is to provide financial support to the value of
$6000, for women who are wishing to pursue a career within building and
construction industry and are enrolled in the Certificate IV Building and
Construction (Site Management) With Wodonga TAFE.

The Pinnacle Foundation Scholarship
The Pinnacle Foundation Scholarship
2026 scholarship opens for applications on 1 July and
closes 31 August 2025.
The scholarship provides $8,400 in the first year (and $6,300 in following
years for returning scholars) along with mentoring and support for young
LGBTQIA+ Australians undertaking full-time study at a public tertiary
institution, including TAFE.
Please note that this scholarship is for the 2026 academic year.
Eligibility criteria:
- Aged
18–26 as of 20 January 2026
- Australian
citizen or permanent resident
- Identify
as LGBTQIA+
- Full-time
student at a public TAFE or university
- Good/
reasonable academic results given personal circumstances
Applicants are also assessed on:
- Challenges
faced due to identity and/or background
- Motivation
to complete their course and manage academic demands
- Clarity
around study and career goals
- Pride
in being part of a diverse community
