On 22 August 2024, Australian Defence Force Reserves and Employer Support hosted their annual state awards ceremony. On the night, Wodonga TAFE won the Victorian Public Sector Employer Support Award for our role in working with Reservists, Defence and Veterans. This means Wodonga TAFE will now progress to the national finals, held in Adelaide later this year.

At Wodonga TAFE, we often promote the success of our learners, but this sometimes means the stories of our dedicated teachers often go untold. Today, we’re shining a spotlight on an inspiring educator whose journey from childcare to teaching shows that pathways can often lead us in unexpected directions.
As we approach the end of the year, our study loads tend to increase, with some training courses winding up with final project submissions or even exams. Balancing study and other life commitments can be challenging, but with effective strategies, it’s possible to manage everything successfully.
