Nyssa W. | Careers Advisor
Nyssa is a Careers Advisor and developing Career Development Practitioner at the Skills and Jobs Centre, supporting people to explore their career direction, work through career decisions and gain greater clarity about what comes next.
Taking a person-centred approach, she works one-on-one with individuals to unpack where they are now, what is important to them and where they would like to go. She also recognises that career decisions don't happen in isolation and works with each person to explore their strengths, circumstances, priorities and possibilities.
She supports clients with career exploration and decision-making, career change and transition, career assessments, education and training pathways, job search strategies, resumes and applications, and interview preparation. She also facilitates directed career education Virtual Reality (VR) sessions, providing an interactive way for clients to explore different industries, occupations and work environments.
Nyssa holds a Certificate IV in Career Development and is currently undertaking postgraduate study in Career Development and Career Counselling, further developing her career counselling practice and knowledge.
