Neurodiversity In Focus at Wodonga TAFE
Tuesday, 20 May 2025
A group of dedicated Community Services students have embarked on an important research project aimed at understanding the unique needs of neurodiverse learners in adult education settings. This initiative seeks to identify the challenges and opportunities faced by neurodiverse individuals, ensuring that educational environments are inclusive and supportive.
The research involves comprehensive surveys, interviews, and focus groups with neurodiverse learners, educators, and support staff. The students aim to gather valuable insights that will inform the development of tailored educational strategies and resources.
Students from the project group will present the research and recommendations with Wodonga TAFE's executve team, with the hope of fostering a more inclusive approach to adult education.
Anyone from the Wodonga TAFE learner community who identifies as Neurodivergent is encouraged to respond to the survey and/or attend a focus group, held later this month.
