dry needling treatment technique new short course

More than a refresher - this new short course in Myofascial Dry Needling Treatment Technique is appropriate for practising health professionals who have extensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology at a bachelor degree level, or for those who can provide evidence of having already completed training in this field.

Team Leader - Health at Wodonga TAFE, Ms Emma O'Donovan, is the Course Coordinator, and also a highly experienced myotherapy and massage practitioner herself, with over 15 years of clinical experience.

"As practising hands-on therapists, we know how important it is that we continue to build our repertoire of skills and modalities to provide a range of treatment opportunities for our clients", said Emma. "This is a great opportunity available locally, for therapists to build a completely new tool to pack in your kit – or to extend your existing Myofascial Dry Needling (MDN) skills. Our amazing trainer, Shaun Brewster, will spend the afternoon refreshing and advancing participants’ knowledge in the art of MDN."

This day will suit health professionals yet to obtain this modality as they will be closely guided to add new skills and knowledge to their repertoire. The workshop is also suited to therapists who already hold this skill as it will allow them to refresh and extend their knowledge of MDN and gain some valuable PD, and too, they will be guided closely along the way.

The course will be held on Friday 20 April 2018, from 12 midday until 5pm.
