Course Overview
Overview
This intermediate-level course is designed for learners who want to take their woodworking skills beyond the basics. Building on the knowledge gained in Introduction to Woodworking, students will develop greater accuracy, efficiency, and independence in the workshop.
The course focuses on advanced hand and power tool techniques, intermediate joinery methods, timber selection and preparation, and safe use of woodworking machinery. Emphasis is placed on craftsmanship, problem-solving, and producing a high-quality finished project of either a versatile panelled bookcase or a sturdy timeless blanket/toy box to take home.
Duration
12 Weeks x 1 Night a week.
Monday Nights, 6pm-9pm.
Requirements
Applicants must have either completed either the Woodworking 101 (NA18WOOD) OR, Introduction to Woodworking (NA26WDINTRO) to be accepted into this course.
