Overview
The Certificate II in Cabinet Making and Timber Technology provides entry-level skills for people looking to start a career in the timber, furniture, and cabinetry industries. This qualification prepares students to work in production and assistant roles involved in the construction, manufacture, and installation of timber and timber composite products, including furniture, kitchens, and bathroom cabinetry.
Training covers practical, hands-on skills commonly used in factory and on-site environments. Learners develop the ability to safely use tools and equipment, follow workplace procedures, and contribute to quality outcomes as part of a team. Graduates may work across multiple areas of the industry or specialise in specific tasks such as furniture production or cabinet installation, under general supervision.
This course is ideal for those seeking a pathway into apprenticeships or employment within the cabinet making and timber technology sector.
