Course Overview
#### Overview
Students are supported to develop their literacy and numeracy skills for their future. The program focuses on functional literacy, including reading and writing simple sentences and basic punctuation. Students also complete activities based on everyday numeracy skills related to time, money, directions and measurements.

Learning Outcomes
#### Skills developed
On completion students will:
- read and make meaning of simple sentences in a limited range of highly familiar, personally relevant contexts.
- write simple sentences on a familiar topic
- apply numeracy for a range of purposes relating to money, time, measurements, and giving and receiving directions.
