This course caters for learners who identify as requiring literacy, numeracy, digital and employability skill development. Training is structured to develop foundation skills, including reading, writing and numeracy skills in familiar and less familiar situations, and includes development of research skills and personal planning. Upon successful completion the Certificate I in General Education for Adults provides a pathway to further training and development of employability skills. Learners at this level work independently and continue to build and use their own familiar support resources.
The SEE program is a government initiative to support eligible job seekers to improve their language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills and support their education or employment opportunities.
