Do you want to make a difference to people's health and independence?
Make a difference in people's lives - help them to become more active and maintain their fitness and agility, and support them to maintain their independence and standard of living. The new Individual Support course is a great choice if you are interested in working in aged care or home and community care, and replaces previous qualifications in aged and home and community care.
Adding a qualification in Leisure and Health to your resume will enable you to work as an activities officer or diversional therapy assistant, planning and implementing activity groups and programs in community settings such as aged care or disability facilities. Become trained to design and facilitate health and leisure programs for older people and others requiring care in our community.
If you are already employed in the aged care or community services industry and want to gain additional skills, or if you would like to begin a rewarding career in these industry sectors, working with clients in their homes or in care facilities, then apply now to gain your place in Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home and Community) or Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.
