Student Welcome Day 2026

Wodonga TAFE is excited to welcome new and returning students with a special event designed to connect them with staff from our support teams.
The event will commence at 11am with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony performed by proud Dhudhuroa and Yorta Yorta man, Derek Murray.
Following the official student welcome from one of our Executives, students are invited to enjoy:
- Ice-cream van including milkshakes and slushies
- A free sausage sizzle with softdrinks
- Chill-out zone, yarning circle, lawn games, music
This event is an opportunity for students to explore the services available to support their success and to feel part of the Wodonga TAFE community. Staff from the following services will be available:
- Support and Experience
- Koorie Education Unit
- Academic Skills
- Digital Skills
- Apprenticeship Support
- David Mann Library
- Skills and Jobs Centre
Additionally, staff from Horticulture will have a pop stall with plants available for purchase.
