Wodonga TAFE Yarning Circle
Wodonga TAFE's Koorie Education Unit launched our very own Yarning Circle, situated next to the newly-reopened short bridge, that helps connect Wodonga TAFE, Kids on Campus and La Trobe University.
Yarning Circles are a way to invite Indigenous styles of conversation and storytelling into our everyday way of learning and teaching and can be used across all disciplines to embed traditional ways of practice into day-to-day learning.
It was a great occasion with a Welcome to Country, smoking ceremony, cultural dancing and more, with many members of community in attendance.
