Skills and Jobs Centres offer a range of services aimed at supporting people to find employment, including face-to-face personalised careers advice, weekly workshops, as well as skills and training advice. We will support you and help you to discover new and exciting skill development opportunities towards finding the right job for you!

  • State and federal government initiatives including funding opportunities
  • Local skills and education opportunities ideal for securing work
  • Help for young people to understand the options available to them and pathways to get there
  • Personalised skills assessment to help identify development opportunities
  • Work readiness and advice including resume writing and updating and completing job applications effectively
  • Advice on important processes associated with searching for employment and accessing Centrelink support
  • Advice on other local support services you may like to access to help find employment
  • Specific support for retrenched workers
  • Planning what happens once you leave school
