Wodonga TAFE is proud to offer access to a dedicated Veteran Liaison Officer (VLO) through the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for Veterans Program.
If you, or someone you know, are transitioning from Defence or looking to expand your education and career options, our Victorian TAFE VLO is here to help. Your VLO acts as a single point of contact for you and your family, providing personalised guidance and support throughout your training and education journey.
With the appropriate security clearance, your VLO can securely interpret your Defence training records and ensure only the necessary information is shared. We’ll also connect you with subject matter experts across our organisation to support your goals and help you move confidently into your next chapter.
To support this, our Career Practitioners at the Skills and Job Centre offers:
- 1:1 career counselling sessions to Veterans (and their family members)
- Help you to identify and map your skills
- Help you to understand and identify your workplace values
- Identify your strengths, and
- Develop an action plan and set goals
