Wodonga TAFE’s Motorsports Training Australia (MTA) is hosting an Open Day on Saturday 30 June 2018, from 9 am until 3 pm at Wodonga TAFE’s Logic Campus, 45 Albertson Road, Barnawartha North.

This event is an invaluable opportunity for prospective students to get hands-on experience in the processes and activities involved in motorsports training, as well as to speak to current MTA students and trainers. These conversations will help prospective students gain a better understanding of course requirements and content, career paths, travel and other additional information they might need to make clear decisions.

Attendants will have an opportunity to view MTA state of the art facilities, including classrooms, the 1.6 km professional race track and the large workshop.

Other activities planned for the day include:

  • See and hear the MTA V8 Supercar.
  • Displays of data logging and engine management systems.
  • Free BBQ, coffee and drinks.
  • Tours - Logic Campus, Wodonga TAFE and accommodation.
  • Chassis dyno demonstration.
  • Displays of student work with composites.

Wodonga TAFE’s motorsports training programs are recognised as some of the leading motorsport technology and mechanical programs in Australia. Throughout the years Wodonga TAFE has forged the strongest of working relationships with industry, with MTA graduates being highly sought after in many racing circuits, including the V8 Supercar Championships.
