Help train the next team of our region’s very best massage therapists by booking your massage session now!

This year’s class of talented Remedial Massage and Massage Therapy students are building on their practical skills and expertise, and invite clients to take part in the student-run massage clinic.

The Student Massage Clinic is open on Tuesdays, from 9am until 4pm, from May until November at Wodonga TAFE, upstairs in Building B, on the main campus at 87 McKoy Street, Wodonga. Call the Clinic on 0475 382 457 to discuss and book in your treatment – or leave a message and someone will return your call and take your details. The clinic is open to the public as well as students and staff on campus, and at only $20 for a one-hour massage, your money is well-spent!

In addition to valuable hours of supervised massage practice, the Student Clinic enables students to gain further proficiency in preliminary assessments of each client who presents to the clinic. Being involved in the management and promoting of the student clinic also allows our students to develop their skills in business management. Extensive practical training means they will be confident to put their skills into practice after course completion and looking forward to working in a clinic setting, and possibly owning and managing their own clinic soon after that!

The Wodonga TAFE massage therapy and remedial massage program is synonymous with producing the most highly skilled and reputable massage therapists in the region. Both the Certificate IV in Massage Therapy and the Diploma of Remedial Massage are offered, with the courses taking enrolments early each year. The Diploma provides the skills required for competence in remedial massage practice, and successful graduates are able to be self-employed as independent practitioners or work within a larger health service. The intensive training included within the course also enables graduates to apply for provider recognition with health funds. The course covers the provision of remedial massage treatment to clients with specific needs such as injury management, rehabilitation, aged care, and chronic disease management.
