Course Overview
Overview
The Plumbing Licence in Roofing (Stormwater) Work Skill Set equips participants with advanced skills and knowledge in roofing and rainwater collection systems.
This includes the design and sizing of roof drainage systems for both residential and commercial applications.
This course is currently available under the Free TAFE initiative, subject to eligibility requirements. Availability and funding arrangements may change.

Requirements
- There is a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) requirement to complete this course.

Students must complete the - Plumbing Licence for Common Units Skill Set before enrolling in this course. A Statement of a Attainment must be supplied during enrolment.

General stationery (pens, pencils, rulers, notebooks, calculator etc.)
- Appropriate workwear (long-sleeved shirts mechanical welding, long pants, and safety boots).
Assessment
A range of assessment strategies will enable students to demonstrate their underpinning knowledge, skills and attributes required to meet the course outcomes, including a series of written questions, a performance assessment, and a series of interview questions.

Design and size roof drainage systems in accordance with relevant Australian standards and project requirements.
Certification
Students will receive a Certificate of Completion, which must be submitted to the Plumbing and Building Commission (PBC) as part of the licensing requirements.
