Overview

Take your photography beyond natural light and learn the fundamentals of studio lighting. This hands-on course is designed for beginners who want to build confidence working in a studio environment and create more polished, professional-looking images.

You'll be introduced to a range of studio lighting equipment and techniques, learning how to control light to achieve different creative effects. Through practical exercises, you'll explore a variety of lighting setups and discover how light can be used to shape a subject, create atmosphere and add depth to your photographs.

Whether you're looking to improve your photography skills, expand your creative practice, or gain confidence using studio equipment, this course will provide the practical knowledge needed to create beautifully lit images.

4 sessions, once a week for 4 weeks

Requirements

Participants are recommended to have a basic understanding of their camera and feel comfortable adjusting settings such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO.
