Overview
Discover the art of capturing people through photography in this practical, hands-on Photography Portraiture short course. Designed for beginner and emerging photographers, this course will introduce you to the essential techniques for creating engaging and professional-looking portraits.
Working with both natural and studio lighting, you'll learn how to use your camera settings effectively, compose flattering portraits, and direct your subject to achieve natural expressions and confident poses. You'll also explore how lighting, background and composition work together to create mood and tell a story through your images.
With plenty of practical shooting opportunities and guidance from an experienced photography teacher, you'll build the confidence to photograph family, friends or creative portrait projects.
Whether you're photographing loved ones, building a portfolio or simply wanting to improve your photography skills, this course will help you take your portraits to the next level.
