Course Overview
Overview
Learn the basics of computer-aided design (CAD) using Autodesk® AutoCAD® software. For those in the industry or hobbyists, you'll engage in a mix of theoretical and practical classroom sessions. You will work towards producing two-dimensional sketch plans and working drawings which include line work, dimensions, and notations that are plotted (printed) to drawing sheets at various scales. You'll gain the foundation skills of drafting electronically!

Note: This short course is an introduction to the most frequently used tools and functions of the AutoCAD software. It does not cover highly specialised design drawings.
