Extend your existing design skills! This course is for all creative minds wanting it all. You will be guided through the creative process and become equipped with a multitude of skills that could easily transfer into the workplace. You must have sound Adobe software skills to apply. If you are into graphic design, photography, videography, sound, or digital media, this course offers you an insight into each of these creative areas.
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who have a broad range of technical and conceptual design skills. Practice at this level is underpinned by the application of integrated technical and theoretical knowledge and the ability to develop concepts and solutions in response to a brief.

The assessments will enable students to demonstrate the underpinning knowledge, skills and attributes required to meet the course outcomes. A range of assessment strategies to meet different student’s needs will be selected, including portfolio evaluation, given tasks and assignments.
By successfully completing this course you will receive a nationally recognised AQF Qualification.

Full-time: 11 months (February to November)
2 days per week: Thursdays 9am-4pm & Fridays 9am-3pm.
Students will need to bring along a portfolio of their artwork to the interview. It is preferable that students have sound Adobe software skills, with a firm understanding of Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign.
