Overview
This course provides students with the standards and regulations surrounding crane operations, along with skills in site and job planning, pre-operational check, crane set-up, signaling, operation of the crane, and shut-down of the crane. Trained and assessed by qualified trainers from industry backgrounds, participants will be moving various loads following hand whistle and radio communication signals from a dogman.

Requirements
- You must complete and bring to course the pre-study material received as email or by postal delivery once accepted and enrolled into the course.
- You must be at least 18 years old
- You must provide photo identification
- You must be able to complete your High risk work licence assessment without an interpreter
- You must wear enclosed footwear and appropriate clothing
A Skills First Student may only receive their Skills First entitlement in relation to one Construction Industry Skill Set. Those that are not eligible will be deemed a FFS Student.
Please also note there are NO canteen facilities available at our Logic Campus. There are vending machines with limited options available and a BP Service Station located within 5 minutes’ drive of the campus, otherwise bring your own food and drink when completing a course at our Logic Campus.

For every hour of extra training a cost of $195 is charged.
