Overview
If you want to gain a start in the civil construction, building and construction, or transport and supply chain industries, an EWP HRW licence is a great asset. Successful course completion will see you gain a national High Risk Work (HRW) licence to operate a boom-type elevated work platform with a boom length 11 metres or more which is required, by law, to undertake EWP activities in a safe and efficient manner. You will learn how to undertake site and job planning, conduct pre-operational checks, set up the EWP, pack up by retracting, lowering, stowing and securing the EWP, and stabilise the EWP for operation. You will also enhance your knowledge and experience in line with relevant legislation as well as different crane requirements.
