Course Overview
Overview
Wanting to start work in the construction industry? Obtain your Construction Induction Card and learn about working safely while undertaking construction work, construction hazards, risks and emergencies, basic principles of risk management, safe work practices, and construction safety signs and symbols. This course is aimed at all prospective and new workers who are, or will be, required to carry out construction work. It is required that everyone who needs to access a construction site has this card.

1 Day
Requirements
- You must be 14 years or older
- All attending students MUST provide Photo ID on the day of training (school ID is not an acceptable form of ID)
- Students attending must wear enclosed footwear
Assessment
A range of assessment strategies will enable students to demonstrate their underpinning knowledge, skills and attributes required to meet the course outcomes, including a series of written questions, a performance assessment, and a series of interview questions.
