Donna Johan

Donna Johan

Centre Director

I have worked in and around Children’s Services for approximately twenty years which has been the most rewarding and fulfilling career I could have hoped for. The thing I have always loved most about working in this sector has been the relationships you develop inside the centres, where each day is unique and always brings you a wonderful surprise. I have always enjoyed being an educator to children and continue to be inspired by what they teach me each and every day. I love to see the friendships in which they develop and the moment in which they show us they are ready to head to school.

Angela Robinson

Angela Robinson

Centre Administrator

I am pleased to be able to provide a professional, friendly and caring first point of contact for Kids on Campus and find it rewarding to be able to assist families with their enquiries.  I enjoy working as part of a team and have seen the Centre going from strength to strength over the years.  I appreciate working in a strong learning environment where I am able to provide specialist administrative support to Educators, Teachers and Team Leaders.  It is such a privilege to be able to participate in the children’s learning and play and share in their absorbing of knowledge and growth throughout the year.

Pre-school Teacher

Ever since I was a child I wanted to grow up and be a teacher. I had so many wonderful experiences in my early childhood and put it down to some of the wonderful teachers who cared for me and provided me with amazing learning experiences. I began working with children in 2013 after completing my Certificate III in Children’s Services. I loved it so much I went on to study a Bachelor in Early Childhood and Primary. Since graduating from Charles Sturt University in 2015 I have worked in various Primary and Early Childhood settings.

Courtney Griffiths

Family Day Care Coordinator

I knew from a very young age this was going to be my career path.  I was always interested in how children develop and I wanted to be a part of their learning journey.  I have been in this sector for over 16 years and have taken on many roles and still to this day love my job.  I have made so many life-long friends from being a part of this wonderful sector. Currently in my role as Family Day Care Coordinator, I get to pass on my knowledge and support to other educators, which allows them to create a caring and safe environment in their homes.

Miranda Scott

Miranda Scott

Room Leader and Educational Leader

I grew up as a “Childcare Kid”. I have fond memories of my experiences and wanted to be able to provide this for other children. It is also a career where I can express my creativity, spend time outdoors and work as part of a team. I love being able to inspire children to be enthusiastic learners and support families to return to work or study.

Donna Osborne

Donna Osborne

Room Leader

Since my senior year in high school I wanted to educate and care for children, as I enjoyed spending time with them. Going to work every day is not like work to me.  I enjoy the time I spend at Kids On Campus and supporting the children I care for to learn, grow and reach milestones to their full potential.

Jessica Walker

Room Leader

I chose a career in Early Childhood to help children grow and become a positive influence in their lives. I love seeing the children every day and spending time with them, making them laugh and smile. Since I finished high school I was unsure of a career choice. After a casual trial at a childcare centre I decided it was definitely a career I wanted to pursue which then lead to experience with a range of age groups from babies to primary school aged. Through these times I have learnt how to build personal relationships with the children, getting to know their personal traits and quirks.

Jacklyn Cottrell

Jacklyn Cottrell

Room Leader

Being around children and having the opportunity to watch them grow and enjoy their childhood aspired me to a career in early childhood education. As an educator I aim to provide a loving, stimulating, safe and welcoming environment for each individual child and their families. Creating an environment where children feel secure, respected, supported and comfortable to learn and develop in their own way through play is my goal. I am lucky to work in an environment where children are successful, capable and confident learners and are able to explore and use their imagination to learn.

Room Leader

I chose a career in Early Childhood as I love working with children and watching them grow. The bond we can make between educator and child and educator and parent is very rewarding. Also sharing exciting moments with each other and playing a positive role in their important learning years.

Ilona Quinn

Ilona Quinn

Room Assistant

I have worked at Kids On Campus for 10 years, choosing a career in childcare because I enjoy interacting with children and their families. I love how every day is different and am supported by my colleagues. Children show us to visualise the world through young eyes which to me, is so inspiring. Watching babies and children develop their unique personalities and reach their milestones gives me a great sense of achievement, knowing I played a positive role in this. It is a privilege to care for babies in an environment that makes them feel safe and secure.

Jennifer Curtis

Jennifer Curtis

Room Assistant

I chose a career in Childcare as I had become a parent and also loved being around children.  My first place of employment was very family friendly and enabled me to slowly build up my hours to suit my family’s needs. I love my work, especially watching all the children in my care learning and growing.  Watching a child work hard to gain a skill and then succeed is so rewarding as they are so proud of themselves and I am so proud of them for persisting.

Margie Sandford

Margie Sandford

Room Assistant

I have been working at Kids on Campus for over 7 years. I chose childcare as a career as I wanted a new challenge after 24 years in retail and loved the idea of being a part of the children’s lives, supporting and encouraging their learning as they grow. I love working in childcare as I enjoy nurturing the children to ensure they feel safe and secure, and most of all happy, in their environment.

Room Leader - Mitta Mitta campus

I hold my diploma in children services, and have been in children's services for 14 years. At the moment I'm the room leader out at Kids on Campus - Mitta Mitta. Growing up I always knew I was going to work with children. I have had some amazing opportunities to travel and work around Australia from my training, including in many indigenous communities up north. I still love what I do and look forward to how every day offers something new.

I chose a career in Early Childhood Education and Care as I wanted to work with children as I enjoy their energy and enthusiasm for life. I appreciate their little personalities and enjoy having the opportunity to assist their learning and watch them grow.

Kade Windsor

Kade Windsor

Room Assistant

I chose a career in Early Childhood Education as I was in childcare until grade 6 and had the opportunity to see both positive and negative role models within the industry. I wanted to play a role in improving the childcare industry by becoming a positive role model myself. I love being able to provide the best quality care for children and watching their smiley faces as they are presented with exciting experiences that help their learning.

Stacey Spinelli

Room Assistant

I have been employed with Kids On Campus since 2002 and I truly feel as though this is my second home. I love watching the children grow and learn. Coming to work and to be greeted by a smiling happy child is the most rewarding part of my job. I believe that some of the most important skills to have when working with children are patience, flexibility and to have an understanding of every child’s individual needs.
