Trades Taster Day – a great success!

With the construction trade industry booming, and the demand for more skilled workers at an all-time high, the completion of our new Trades Training Centre in Wodonga couldn’t have come at a better time!

Over the weekend, Wodonga TAFE invited the public to come down to see our new facilities, while finding out more around what it’s like working within the trades industry. It was fantastic to have so many people coming through the facility, chatting to our teachers and getting some hands-on experience with the variety of specialised equipment.

The facility provides a range of training opportunities across the construction trades industries (Cabinet & Furniture Making, Carpentry, Electrotechnology Plumbing and Building Design), including pre-apprenticeships, apprenticeships, public and short courses.
