Kevin Wyatt's Farewell

Tuesday, 1 November 2022

Last week we wished one of our long-service staff members, Kevin Wyatt a happy retirement. With friends, family, and work colleagues together, it was great to celebrate everything Kev has brought to the TAFE over his 25 years in the sector. During Kev’s career with TAFE, he has worked across many different roles, including:

  • Project Development with the Executive Department
  • Working with ASEME across several departments
  • Manager of the Land, Built, Environment & Sustainability Department – Pre IST
  • Teaching Carpentry from Certificate II to IV

Kev has played an instrumental role in the development and progression of Wodonga TAFE, from starting sustainability courses and implementing those techniques to the TAFE itself. To the opening of TAFESpace, which has played many important roles within Wodonga community over the years.

It’s always sad to say farewell to someone who has helped shape Wodonga TAFE and been involved in the sector for so long, but we are very thankful for his contribution! Wishing him all the best in his retirement!
