Academic Support Lunchtime Mini Workshops

The team from Academic Learner Support is hosting mini workshops for students, to be held at lunchtime throughout February and March.

The list of workshops includes:

Monday 21 February

File Management Learn how to use File Explorer – Create, locate and navigate folders/files.
Recognise an efficient way of naming and digitally filing folders/files.

Wednesday 23 February

MS Office 365 Identify and learn about the free programs available to students.
Access student email and OneDrive accounts.

Thursday 24 February

Navigating Moodle Learn how to navigate and use Moodle (online student learning platform).

Tuesday 1 March

Everyday Math Identify the most common math used in our everyday lives and recognise how we use math daily.

Wednesday 2 March

Calculating Numbers (Arithmetic) Learn basic addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

Thursday 3 March

BODMAS (Order of operations) Recognise the order in which we solve mathematical equations using BODMAS, an acronym used in mathematics.
 

All workshops will commence at 12pm and will be approximately 30 minutes, classrooms to be advised.
