Join us in supporting the 2026 Aussie Bird Count

The Northern Victoria Institute of TAFE Sustainability Team, Our Future Footprint Group, will support The 2026 Aussie Bird Count, which is Australia’s biggest citizen science event. Every year, tens of thousands of Australians of all ages and experiences join us in observing and counting the birds we live with.

This year we will be complimenting the event with an exhibition of bird art to raise awareness of bird biodiversity across our campuses.

The exhibition will take place at the Eddie Kneebone Gallery between Monday 19 October - Friday 23 October.

There will be a guided bird count taking place on the Friday, led by Bird Life Australia. For those interested in attending the guided bird count, please register here.
