Izzy and Anthony came into the Course in Transport & Logistics Employment Pathway (22648VIC) with different goals, but both left with the same outcome: confidence, skills, and a clear path forward.

For Izzy, the course was about building opportunities close to home. With her partner’s family running a transport business, she saw the chance to expand her role; not just within the business, but across the region. She wanted to contribute more, support the family operation, and even help cover even more roles on the farm.

Anthony’s journey was about taking that first big step. He’d been thinking about getting his heavy vehicle licence for a while but hadn’t made the move, until now. Inspired by his dad, who has worked in the industry for over a decade, Anthony decided it was time to get his foot in the door of a career he’d always been curious about.

Both students found the course to be a game-changer.

The intensive 4-day training helped build their confidence quickly. What started as uncertainty turned into capability, learning not just how to operate trucks, but truly understanding the machinery and the industry behind it.

“It was a big confidence builder,” Izzy shared. “You come out feeling comfortable in your skills and confident you can be a safe operator on the road.”

Now, Izzy and Anthony are stepping into new opportunities, equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to succeed in the transport industry.
