YouthFest 2025 Wrap-Up

On 17 September 2025, the lawn area in front of Building B at McKoy Street came alive with energy, colour, and connection as we celebrated Youth Fest 2025! With the support of the Victorian Government, this vibrant event brought together young people aged 16 to 24 for an afternoon of fun, food, and festivities. 

From interactive activities and games to prize giveaways and a delicious BBQ lunch, the event created a welcoming space for students to relax, connect, and celebrate youth culture. The atmosphere was buzzing with laughter, music, and community spirit. 

A huge thank you goes out to:  

• All the students who helped bring the event to life with their enthusiasm and support, 

• The dedicated Wodonga TAFE staff who worked behind the scenes and on the day to make everything run smoothly, 

• Murphy’s Lane who generously donated coffee vouchers as part of the raffle prizes,  

• And the incredible services; Gateway Health, Wodonga Council, The Cat’s Pyjamas, Headspace, Victoria Electoral Commission, Skills & Jobs Centre, Sport North East and The Koori Education Unit staff who contributed their time, resources, and energy to support our young people. 

Youth Fest 2025 was a fantastic reminder of the power of community and the importance of creating inclusive spaces for young people to thrive. We’re already looking forward to the next one!
