Motorsports Training Australia (MTA) students will celebrate their graduation on Friday 17 November 2017. The ceremony will be held at the Logic Centre, commencing at 11am and running until 1.30pm.

MTA is well known for providing first-class motorsport training, as well as placement with racing teams to assist at national track-side events.

This year’s graduates have completed Certificate III and IV qualifications throughout 2016 and 2017, gaining skills in areas such as automotive, engineering, fitting and machining, fabrication and fibreglass composites.

The MTA department has solid partnerships and has been extensively supported by the motor industry in the development of such courses.

Over the course of two years, partners such as Pedders Racing and Brad Jones Racing have provided placements to students at the races. DJR-Team Penke has offered full-time positions to two students, Hyundai has donated a turbocharged tarmac rally Veloster and Briggs & Stratton has provided Monster engines to replace outdated 2 strokes on the MTA karts, which are used during delivery of the data units. CAMS has also participated by supplying scrutineers for MTA track days, whilst PPG has supplied valuable consumables for the composites.

Ongoing partnerships are an added value to the training offered by the MTA department. Industry support and collaboration means that courses are delivered in line with the sector needs, and students benefit from placement arrangements and employment options.
