Wodonga TAFE’s Motorsports Training Australia (MTA) is hosting an Open Day on Saturday 1 July, from 8am until 4pm at The Logic Campus, 45 Albertson Road, Barnawartha North. As well as showcasing the venue and professional track facility, the main purpose of the day is to provide prospective students with an invaluable opportunity to see the activities and processes involved in motorsports training. They will gain an understanding of course requirements and career paths as well as have the opportunity to talk with current students and the MTA instructors.

Activities planned for the day include:

•          See and hear the MTA V8 Supercar

•          Displays of data logging and engine management systems

•          Free BBQ, coffee and drinks

•          Tours - Logic Campus, Wodonga TAFE and accommodation

•          Chassis dyno demonstration

•          Displays of student work with composites.

MTA trainer, Trevor Crisp, said that MTA has an excellent reputation throughout the motorsports industry for producing hardworking graduates with solid skills that they can apply straightaway in their employment.

“There is at least one MTA graduate in every V8 Supercar team in Australia”, said Trevor.
