Allied Health Assistance
Become part of a healthcare team and help others maintain their health. If you are interested in healthy living, and like to help people, then working in the allied health industry may be for you. You will gain the skills you need to support allied health care professionals such as physiotherapists and podiatrists as part of a healthcare team caring for patients and helping them maintain their independence.
Community Services
Make a positive impact within the community. If you want to work with individuals, families and communities to improve their social environments, then a career in community services may be for you. Completing a qualification in community services will help you gain the skills and knowledge for roles that may involve directly working with clients or in community education and development projects.
Early Childhood Education & Care
Become an Early Childhood Educator and help the next generation grow! Get qualified and apply your skills and knowledge along with a sense of adventure to a career in early childhood education and care. You will need to have lots of energy, creativity, and patience if you choose this fulfilling career, nurturing young people as they discover the world around them.
First Aid
Know what to do in an emergency. Gain CPR and first aid skills, or keep your current skills up-to-date. If you want to be confident in an emergency situation with the skills and knowledge to administer first aid until medical help arrives, then book your place in a first aid short course now.
Individual Support (Ageing / Disability) & Leisure and Health
Make a positive difference to others with your career in Aged Care or Disability Work. Complete a nationally recognised qualification specialising in Ageing or Disability, and become qualified with skills and experience to work in one of Australia's most rapidly growing work sectors. Extend your career with a Leisure and Health qualification, for work as an activities officer or diversional therapy assistant, planning and implementing activity groups and programs.
Massage & Myotherapy
Make your hands-on career in the health industry. If you are passionate about helping people regain their mobility and confidence, then a career in remedial massage practice may be for you. Learn to assess client needs and provide remedial massage treatment in the areas of injury management, rehabilitation, aged care, and chronic disease management. For qualified RMTs, the Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy provides you with the opportunity to extend your skills and advance your career.
Mental Health Peer Work
Mental Health Peer Work is a unique and highly valuable community service role. People who work as Mental Health Peer Workers draw upon their own lived experience of mental ill-health and recovery to support others. Peer support is a system of giving and receiving help founded on key principles of respect, shared responsibility, and mutual agreement of what is helpful. When people find affiliation with others they feel are 'like' them, they feel a connection.
Nursing
