The course offers you extensive training in computer-aided design (CAD) which many employers find attractive. You also use a range of metals, non-metals, composite materials and plastics in order to design components and machinery. You learn skills in the design, development, and drafting of components and machinery required in manufacturing industries. Successful completion of this course provides you with opportunities to work in the manufacturing industry, particularly in small to medium-sized organisations.
