Have a hands-on but creative approach to work? This could be right up your alley. This is the base qualification required to gain a registration with the Building Commission of Victoria or a structural landscape licence in NSW. You will learn skills with paving, retaining walls, concreting, drainage and plant identification and establishment. This trade-level course could lead you to work as a self-employed landscape contractor or become a tradesperson or supervisor for a landscape company or a local government landscape crew.

The assessments will enable students to demonstrate the underpinning knowledge, skills and attributes required to meet the course outcomes. These will involve the assessment of your practical and theoretical knowledge through written assignments and practical project work.

- On-campus – The majority of teaching and assessment is conducted on-campus

When You Can Start
Any time, as this course runs in conjunction with your employment.
Attend on-campus block study 8-10 times per year (each block is 1 week), 8.30am-5pm. The remainder of the learning and assessment is completed at your workplace.

•You must be employed in the field and/or currently undertaking a apprenticeship.
