This course provides you with the skills and knowledge you need to shift loads using manual-handling methods, including how to assess the risks associated with relocating the load, how to plan the relocation process, and how to carry out the relocation in accordance with the plan. The manual handling equipment is incorporated into the training. This certification is looked upon favourably by employers, as it shows you can safely move materials lowering risk to both yourself and goods damages.

The assessments will enable students to demonstrate the underpinning knowledge, skills and attributes required to meet the course outcomes. A range of assessment strategies to meet different student’s needs will be selected, including theoretical and practical assessment and demonstration.
By successfully completing this course you will receive an AQF Statement of Attainment.
