This twelve-day program has been specifically designed to meet employment shortages within the Civil Construction industry. The program will provide youth or currently unemployed participants with industry relevant entry-level skills that will increase your employability in the civil construction industry; including a White Card and training operating a Skid Steer.

A Skills First Student may only receive their Skills First entitlement in relation to three Construction Industry Skill Set. Those that are not eligible will be deemed a Fee for Service Student.
A Skills First Student may only receive their Skills First entitlement in relation to one Construction Industry Skill Set. Those that are not eligible will be deemed a FFS Student.
Please also note there are NO canteen facilities available at our Logic Campus. There are vending machines with limited options available and a BP Service Station located within 5 minutes’ drive of the campus, otherwise bring your own food and drink when completing a course at our Logic Campus.

By successfully completing this course you will receive a nationally recognised AQF Statement of Attainment.
This program consists of 40% theory and 60% practical training to give students the underpinning knowledge required to be a skid steer operator.
