Free careers and jobs advice and career counselling
The Skills & Jobs HQ at Wodonga TAFE offers a range of free and local services available. Fully qualified and knowledgeable careers counsellors offer impartial advice – meaning they give real advice about ALL possibilities that are available – at Wodonga TAFE AND beyond!
Wodonga TAFE’s experienced careers counsellors will help your young person discover where their talents lie, and can help them select the courses they need to build their knowledge and skills in the industry areas they are most passionate about.
Free TAFE options
‘Free TAFE’ opportunities are available in 2020 at Wodonga TAFE. Taking up this option gives a ‘Free TAFE’ boost to an education and career pathway – your young person can start their career journey while they study locally!
There is still time to apply for a ‘free TAFE’ course for 2020, with over 20 courses to choose from. Students can complete their course and be confident they are ready to enter the workforce with relevant vocational experience and practical work-ready skills.
TAFE to uni pathways
A change of course preference can lead to exploration of other ways to get to a dream career, and a TAFE to university pathway is a choice worth considering! Many courses at Wodonga TAFE can take students directly to a degree. Our university partnerships enable students to receive credit towards a university degree for the studies they complete at Wodonga TAFE.
Successful completion of a diploma at Wodonga TAFE also provides students with current industry knowledge and skills. Students gain in confidence as they gain experience, so they are very well placed to progress their studies to university if they choose to.
