Renowned chefs to mentor Wodonga TAFE students in Masterclass Week

Five well-renowned professionals from the Cookery industry will share their skills and knowledge with students in a series of Masterclasses this week at Wodonga TAFE, from Monday 27 May to Friday 31 May 2019.


Touted as ‘Industry Professionals Supporting Our Students’, the Masterclass Week will feature Morgan Hipworth (Bistro Morgan), Alex Dawkins (The Goods Shed Wodonga), David Kapay (Miss Amelie), Geoffrey Michael (Geoffrey Michael Patissier), and Gabriele Olivieri (Pentolina). These highly-acclaimed industry professionals will work with students enrolled in the Certificate II in Kitchen Operations at Wodonga TAFE, with the students to gain hands-on experience in the preparation and presentation of a series of signature dishes.


Ms Sarah Whitling, Teacher Cookery & Bakery at Wodonga TAFE, is excited to be bringing her students together to work with top professionals in the industry. “We are very pleased to provide this opportunity locally for our students to learn from well-known industry professionals – from the very industry that our students are starting their careers in”, said Sarah. “The students will be able to experience the masterclasses and further their skills as they work with these industry chefs right here on campus.”
